Prof. Dr. Kadir Bacakoğlu was born in Ankara, studied Medicine in Izmir and specialized in Traumatology and Hand Surgery in Hamburg, Germany.

Member of AFOR (International Association for Orthopedic Research) in Switzerland since 1995, the professor speaks 3 languages (English, German and Turkish), participating, as a guest, in numerous international congresses of orthopedics and microsurgery and applying to his patients , come from around the world, optimal methods in cutting-edge orthopedic surgery and trauma.

Currently he has his own clinic, being also a university professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Dokuz Eylul University, but he also collaborates with top hospitals in Izmir.

So, Prof. Dr. Kadir Bacakoğlu’s skills and areas of interest include: laparoscopic, endoscopic, arthroscopic surgery, joint surgery, spine fractures and conditions, meniscus tears, elbow and shoulder surgery, wrist, finger and tendon fractures, deformations and inflammations, coxarthrosis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.
